Ksar Char Bagh - Relais and Chateaux Marrakech

Image
We went to have lunch with my parents at the wonderful Ksar Char Bagh . It is a gorgeous spot if you feel like spoiling yourself. Even though it is a fairly new building the architect was a specialist in ancient architecture and also designed the hotel around the Alhambra in Granada so it is truly stunning. The staff are also extremely friendly which is always a plus and they showed me around their organic vegetable plot. The ancient palms give the garden a spiritual lift with the pretty swimming pool in the middle of the garden. Sadly if you go for lunch you are not entitled to use the pool which is a great shame. I did however manage to stuff in a delicious lobster club sandwich, the ice cream however was not special and full of ice which lead me to believe is had defrosted and been re-frozen. 4 out of 10 for lunch and 10 out of 10 for ambiance . Definitely worth a visit.
